Not At All What I Expected

I bought a Cohasset Glass Float and Bamboo Wind Chimes several years ago from a shop when I was on vacation at the coast. The chimes sounded beautiful as they knocked gently against each other when the wind blew. But, sadly the bamboo tubes eventually split and broke from constant exposure to the elements. I was excited to find (and buy) what I thought was the same bamboo chimes on the Internet sold by Breezy Garden Gifts! When I received this one in the mail a couple of days ago and opened it, I was very disappointed. The overall dimensions were quite smaller than the one I had purchased before. The bamboo tubes are now narrower and shorter, so they do not make the melodious sound the other one made. In fact they do not make much sound at all! Overall - much like everything else anymore - they seem to have been made cheaper to save costs for the company making them. Too bad. The craftsmanship of the former Cohasset Bamboo Wind Chimes was beautiful, the varied sized tubes were large and long, and the deep resonance of the sound when the wind blew gave me so much joy.
